Cogia AG: Cogia AG announces successful acquisition of Socializer Messenger by VCI Global Limited

Frankfurt am Main - 1 July 2024 - Cogia AG is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Socializer Messenger by VCI Global Limited (NASDAQ: VCIG) from Cogia GmbH. This strategic move is in line with Cogia AG's ambition to refocus its core business and enables VCI Global to expand its portfolio of secure communication solutions. In return, Cogia GmbH has received 3.5 million shares in VCI Global Limited and the right to acquire a further USD 1.5 million worth of shares in Treasure Global Inc (NASDAQ: TGL) over the next 12 months.

Socializer Messenger, developed by Cogia AG, is a leading communications platform favoured by the government of an EU NATO founding country. Known for its robust security features and innovative AI technology, Socializer Messenger offers advanced features such as facial recognition, self-destructing messages and advanced app lock protection. These features ensure the highest level of security for sensitive communications
